ABOUT THE SHOW

Come visit the historic Headhouse Square shambles! We are located at 2nd and Pine St. in Old Philadelphia. This is our 45th Anniversary!

On April 1, 1995, The Creative Collective, a non-profit group of Philadelphia artists formally elected to preserve The Craft & Fine Arts Fair held every year in the Headhouse Shambles. Their intent being to produce an interesting  outdoor arts and crafts environment for Greater Philadelphia Area residents to attend. Thanks to artists and craftspersons, the Historic Headhouse building is the Nation's oldest market place that has been in continual use for the past 45 years. Come visit us this summer!

The Craft & Fine Arts Fair has always been an art show run by artists. The event is free to the public. The goal of The Creative Collective is to produce a quality show at affordable rates for exhibitors, and at the same time generate positive publicity for the district. The Creative Collective wants to enhance public awareness of crafts & fine arts, and to attract more visitors to this area who are interested in an upscale venue of this type.
